...Of it is.. I'm busy. Work is great, tonz better than it has been in a long while.
I'm very happy to not be going to school right now. There I said it! There are somethings I miss but not many things haha! I think I've been BURNT OUT from school but I am excited to get back. I'm excited for a new chapter of my education and that I have no clue what it is yet! I love it.
I've already started spring cleaning!! Feels SOO great!
My dad's cancer is much worse than originally thought. I won't go into details, but I appreciate the thought and prayers from many of you already. Whatever happens I know that my dad, and my family is in God's hands. That doesn't mean I haven't thought about wanting him to live 30 more years or hold more of my children. It doesn't mean that I haven't cried many times and prayed earnestly on his behalf. Faith and love or ache for those we love can definitely exist in the same heart at the same time. What makes the difference is despair. That can be a battle and I've been in it before. I'm thankful for the peace that has pulled me out of it. I've been blessed with it time and time again. This is one of those times.
Forgiving, loving, weeping, breathing...that's how we keep on living. ~LOVE-aki Inc.

WHAT the crazi Train?!?
Can I just tell you that my life has taken a turn for the crazi sauce train and crashed into bizzle?
It's too bad you absolutely had no way to answer that because weather you liked it or not I DID just say that and oh boy...it really did happen just like that!
I have been working for the Cache-Rich Association of REALTORS(R) for 4yrs, well in April it will be 4yrs. Once I got back from my trip to NY, which was L O V E L Y btw, my hours and responsibilities at worked dramatically increased! I was/am an Assistant there, but the person I "assisted" no longer works there. I will not divulge on that subject.
I have picked up responsibilities that I should've had most of my time working there but didn't. There are quite a few that are not really in my job description however and I have been striving to understand and learn all of them at once. There are responsibilities at a National, State and local level that I cannot even begin to explain. I will say that I love what I do though. I work with/for 370+ REALTORS(R), Appraisers, and Affiliates...Mortgage, Escrow Officers, etc. I am now pretty much running things until they find a replacement. I'll still stay in my position so I'm grateful for that.
I did turn in a resume but it wasn't the right fit. It really is best for the Association if someone with more experience and commitment holds the Association Executive position. Emil and I will not be living in UT, much less Logan, for more than 2-3 years more...well hopefully! We are hoping that he gets accepted to Dental school within that time frame but who knows.
Besides that...I found out that my dad has cancer. We are hopeful and he is doing, as he likes to put it "Perfect." I really love my daddy. He's a strength to me and I've always looked up to him. I get a lot of things from him, but the most of all I exists because of him and my sweet mom. I'm really thankful that I have wonderful relationships with them both and that I can honestly say that they are my best buddies. There hasn't been results about how much/if it has spread, as I said we are hopeful. It seems to have been detected early.
Besides THAT...I have been on the healthy route to loosing weight again. I will be honest. I fell out of good habits due to funds and laziness. I didn't gain all 50lbs back, THANKFULLY, but I gained 30 back...:(. BUT! Not to despair!! Emil and I are picking it back up again and it's been so much easier this time! SO MUCH. More raw foods, cheap ones, and smaller amounts of everything else. SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. Both Emil and I have lost 6lbs in Jan. Go us!
Besides that...I took a HUGE step in NYC..but I'll just wait for that one. It borders on the lines of overkill if ya know what I mean!
It was so fun too and I miss my brother's family so much!! Sigh...I can't believe that in just a month all of the above and more has taken place. Didn't I tell you? Crazi train!
Besides that...
...My hair is turquoise now. My FAV so far! Who knew you could do so much with your hair? Well anyone who knows me should have a pretty good idea by now!

Sad to leave but happy to go

My flight was delayed a bit cause of the weather but I leave NYC tomorrow night. Sad day but GREAT because I get to see EMIL and my DOGLETS!!!!
I plan to post more pictures and videos when I can but I just wanted to say that I'm L O Ving it here!! Mostly, I love being with family. I've loved being here each day and spending time with everyone! Isabelle is 12 in a few weeks, Rael is 5 1/2, Eli is 4, Raqael is 2 1/2, and Eliza was the Christmas Eve baby.
I've seen the city and got to go to Mary Poppins w/ Isabelle and it was SO much fun!!
I took Her and Rael to Toys R Us (separate times) and that was most definately a highlight! M&M World was great, all in time square, all those touristy places were great fun.
I need to go help with the kids now, I hope you all had a great New Year!

Change
I'm still finishing finals so life hasn't slowed down much lately.
It's been a tough semester for me. In several ways. But most of all I've realized that the passion I had for the medical field has changed. If I could still be working in Pediatrics as an MA I would be. I miss that. But being a nurse is very different from that. I have been wrestling with what this may mean for my future and have made decisions that feels so much better! The main choice has been to go to an undeclared major. I've been meeting with the career office at the USU campus and have been getting a lot of help. I feel SO much better seeing all the options I have. There is even a test and survey process to help me narrow it. There are several classes I can take to help me decide as well.
There are other things that have been tough this semester. Accepting my reality that I cannot do all that is on my plate. I just cannot. I filled it too full and have suffered the consequences.
It has been really trying on my Spirit. But I am doing so much better the last week. I have a refreshed view of goals and feel like I am more prepared to tackle them. It's a relief!
I'm getting more nervous for NY and excited at the same time. It feels more and more like it is the exact place I should be. Love when that happens!
Christmas Season! Wow! Here it is! The tree and lights are all up and I love it. This time of year is special for many reasons, but I'd like to think that one of the best parts is how we treat each other. I love seeing how we show kindness when are perspective has changed. Christmas time does that to our hearts and I love seeing that.
All of these things involve change. There is a lot of that going on with me and I'm grateful that it doesn't feel scary. That I am moving along and OK with it. That I'm OK with who I am and why I am. I just wish that we all could exchange those same feelings with the rest of man kind. We're all in this together people, you really never know what an impact your words (kind or not) will have on others.
